Taipei, Taiwan is partnering with IOTA, a Distributed Ledger Technology to develop smart features to help residents.

In the first version of the project, the city plans to use IOTA for developing Citizen ID cards.
The city believes this technology helps dealing with the voter fraud, tracking health history for the citizens .
