How to Use Your RaspberryPi to Mine YENTEN (YTN) ?

After seen so much people asking how they could use their Raspberry Pi to get into Bitcoin, I've decided to make a post on how to make your RaspberryPi mining some coins,

I’ve found an easy way to get in the game and make some gains maybe in the future, I really think this is a long term investment, but in fact Raspberry costs around 10$ a year in electricity and if you're a geek like me you could have maybe 2 or 3 that are lost in your room,

What is YENTEN (YTN) ?

So the coin today that we are going to mine is called YENTEN, this coin is ASIC Resistant but also offers a more powerfull capacity of mining with CPU than with GPU, the idea reminds really the idea of Satoshi Nakamoto which was "One CPU one VOTE" , so I think it will really grow and take more and more value by time,

What do we need ?

3 - Internet Connexion with RJ45 or Wifi if you have Raspberry Pi 31 - Registration at LuckyYentenPool : https://yenten.luckypool.org 2 - Raspberry Pi ( 1,2,3,Zero all versions work ) with Raspian Installed (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/installation/installing-images/)

How do we start ?

Power on your RaspberryPi and connect it to the internet,

2 - Go to « My Account » and « My Workers »

3 - Add your new worker, choose a name and a password and click on « Add New Worker »
4 - Check the new worker and select the file under « Miner »

5 - Now choose the config, here it’s a RaspberryPi so we choose « ARMv7 » and default difficulty « 0.01 to 1 » and download your .zip cpuminer with the conf file

1 - First of all you need to make an account at luckypoolyenten : https://yenten.luckypool.org

Launching the CPUMiner on RaspberryPi

1 - Unzip previous downloaded file
2 - Use the terminal to go to the folder and simply launch StartMining.sh
If you have issues running the script just right click on it and select "Allow Executing File Program"
