What is TBIS? Let’s begin with the symbolism that encompasses our vision, Titanium.
Is there any element that calls to mind the notion of strength quite like titanium? Named after the Titans, Greek gods of myth, the 22nd element on the Periodic Table appears in the micron thin skins of airliners and smart phones, body piercings and medical equipment and even the main element of sunscreen. It is a lustrous transition metal with a silver color, low density, and high strength.
Titanium resists corrosion and is particularly strong and lightweight. It's as strong as steel, but only 45 percent the weight, according to Los Alamos National Laboratory. And it's twice as strong as aluminum, but only 60 percent heavier.
We at Titanium Blockchain Infrastructure Services Inc. (TBIS) picked titanium purposefully, to represent our vision of lightweight strength via fundamentals of free enterprise. We intend to solve problems with what we consider to be the digital titanium, blockchain technology. In today’s marketplace, we see corporate giants being reborn in the spirit of collaboration. Companies like Google, Amazon, Red Hat, Angie’s List, Lyft, Uber, eBay, Airbnb, and many like it show the power of entrepreneurialism combined with corporate coordination. We want to solve problems that allow the masses to become involved in bringing technology services to the world.
In short, we wish to make a franchise out of cloud computing.
TBIS is bringing the decentralized power of the blockchain to bear on cloud infrastructure. We intend to give individuals the ability to run their own datacenters at their homes, or in a large corporate Data Center facility while being wrapped in the Titanium blockchain security context. Imagine the strength of your computing equipment and reliability being the basis for your reimbursement. We also intend to make perceived obsolete cryptocurrency mining equipment useful once again. Our vision is going to revolutionize cloud computing like Linux did to home and business computing, like Uber and Lyft did to transportation, like Amazon does for online shopping, and like how Airbnb does to travel housing.
We intend to make partnership our core competence. Open Source collaboration is our central component. Software giants have been forced to evolve to embrace open source technologies to survive. Open source technologies are the backbone of our existence and our partnership with devops engineers will be our innovation. Our unique form of multilevel inclusion and collaboration will be the lightweight skeleton that will keep TBIS earning and feeding our collaborators. Together we will be strong as there is power in numbers.
