Many people ask me if Bitcoin is an anonymous currency and some are under the assumption that it is because BTC does not require an account, require ID to acquire, and is "cash like" to an extent but when it really comes down to it BTC transactions are all PUBLIC. Tor/VPN can help but analysis of the blockchain CAN and DOES correlate addresses.
