Thanks Brian. Oh I see GDAX is linked to Coinbase and now it compares :) I didn't know about GDAX and that is much smarter to use that and it looks like I'm already verified because of Coinbase. But I guess that Gemini is still an alternative :)

Yeah basically Coinbase is ACH transfers from Coinbase owned coins. When you use GDAX or Gemini there is an actual order book and the coins you are buying are coins that someone else is selling. Those are actual exchanges. Coinbase was mainly just an initial way that they could comply with the law before they were able to get all the money transmitter licenses in all the states for GDAX.
