What math? After the 2008 financial crash, Satoshi created a Digital Currency named Bitcoin.
His vision was a Currency, controlled by the people and not by a bunch of extremely rich groups of individuals, with fees low enough to be able to be used by everyone in the World.
Is that what Bitcoin is, really...?
As far as I see, Bitcoin Core is controlled by a group of very rich guys and it's not even a currency anymore.
Sadly, Bitcoin Core has become a financial instrument, with only one function: being traded in exchanges. It serves no purpose in the world besides that.
As an alternative, you can lock it away in a vault... and hope someone will buy higher from you in the future. Still trading.
