DCA, "Dollar Cost Averaging" is an equity buying strategy that is for regular buyers. Say you want to buy $100 of BTC (or other crypto) each week. The lower the price, the more you get for your fiat! It is a nearly foolproof strategy and almost always out-performs "buying the dips" and nets more crypto than that strategy. Used a lot with precious metals buyers also.
You have the right idea. I trade with a similar strategy.
I agree with underground. Buy on a weekly basis when the candles favor a mini dip and you will make better returns in the long run than just holding out for the deep valleys.
