With all the talk of the United States government, and other governments around the world, supposedly being on the verge of regulating cryptocurrencies (maybe even shutting down altogether), imagine my utter surprise and shock when I read this article on www.coindesk.com.
https://www.coindesk.com/crypto-regulation-not-anytime-soon-says-white-house-official/
Basically the article is speaking on the government's struggle to differentiate between the negatives and positives of cryptocurrency. They're still in the phase of trying to pick out what would be good to keep and what wouldn't, so is the government close to regulating cryptocurrency and if so, when can we expect to see it? "Not anytime soon," according to one US government official.
So is this good news or bad news for cryptocurrencies right now? You read this very short article and tell me what you think.
