Learning by doing, for me, is by far the most efficient way. I think that's probably why I did better working or teaching myself then in school. Doing creates muscle memory instead of just hearing what to do. That might just be my opinion though. Great piece! I also loved this point you made.
You have to talk with people as if they are people, and people can be scared and bewildered. Crazy concept, I know, but it is something we often forget.

Thanks so much for your kind words! I agree that learning by doing is very efficient, and a smart way to train your body and mind to complete tasks "naturally". Mixing learning styles is often a good idea. Another way I learn is by hearing. I can sometimes hear a song, while I read something. If I forget what I read, playing that particular song will help me remember.
