Overstock.com has been making waves online, since they started accepting Bitcoin for purchases back in 2014. Could we see Amazon, next in line to start accepting Bitcoin? There are currently over 5,500 petition signers that think its a good idea.
Bitcoin Offers:
- Low transaction costs
- Decentralized currency
- Low Inflation (Because of the finite supply of Bitcoins (this mostly benefits the consumer))
- Bitcoin is accessible to any person of any age, sex, demographic, etc. (it is extremely advantageous to citizens of crisis countries)
- Non-reversible payments (Extremely beneficial to reputable companies such as Amazon.com)
- Bitcoins are extremely secure (Bitcoins reside in an encrypted format on the wallet they are kept in)

In my opinion, I think the companies that do not adopt Blockchain technology, will have a economic disadvantage going into the future.

But hopefully, Amazon will get the message.
I wonder what kind of priority it would be for them?
If you don't get paid in crypto, you are much less likely to care about being able to spend your crypto..
It seems unlikely that Amazon will accept cryptos until their crazy stock investors start abandoning ship.
Hi @mrsullivan and everyone, I just want to have your attention for a petition about the acceptance of Bitcoin and Litecoin at Amazon, as can be seen in the link below. If we can take care of this, the crypto market will become much bigger and will be taken serious. Please take a look and share it to make this big. I know Amazon is one of the biggest companies out there but if we can collect thousands of signatures we will give a serious sign for acceptance.
