How many times have you and and your crypto buddies consoled each other since the bear run that began late last year? And how many times have you uttered, 'I wish I sold all my coins for fiat'?
Well don't hit yourself too hard because I am certain everyone aside from market manipulators have asked the same question.
When exactly is it you wish you had swapped to fiat, yesterday? Last week? Last month? Or the beginning of the year? If only you had yourself a crystal ball, how easy life will be huh?
So here is my most important question to crypto folks.
If this bear run continues, at what point will people stop buying and hands off crypto?
Well personally I think it depends on every individual's mode of entry into the crypto world. Bounty hunters will probably be the last group of people to dump crypto while the newer crypto investors are most likely to jump ship first because they are probably the most hurt financially.
When I got into crypto almost 2 years ago, I had very little capital to invest and had to make do with chasing airdrops and bounties. Then, it seemed so unreal that something they say is generated by 'cryptopgraphic calculations made by network of computers and recorded on ledgers known as blockchain' will have any value at all. But it is what it is, as I witnessed coins that had zero value start trading at outrageous prices when they get listed on exchanges.
These days though things have become very different as airdrops from countless ICOs are becoming more and more useless. Hence as a bounty seeker I am becoming less and less interested in looking for airdrops and bounties.
What this means for me and other bounty hunters is that we could stop promoting crypto projects and look for other things to do with our time. You will agree with me that this is not good, because it means less marketing and awareness for crypto.
Am I ranting? I hope not, because what I am trying to establish here is quite simple. Crypto attracts the most impatient of investors, those who want quick returns and not just quick but 100% or better still 1000% profit on invested capital.
Lately the crypto bears have been keeping the largely impatient crypto community unhappy, and one can only wonder how long we have before the exodus begins!
