Paper wallets afford you a safe place to store your cryptocurrencies, as apposed to the Exchanges. But how do you keep your keys safe in case of a fire or a flood? There are technology solutions like Trezor, or KeepKeys or even Ledger Nano S. These tools have water resistant capabilities, however fire will do them in. You could program two of these devices and place them in different locations, which is a good redundant strategy. However you now have two devices to manage and double the cost.
Today I found this rather unique and functional solution. You still have double the cost but your redundancy is increased by diversifying the media that houses your keys. Check out Cryptosteel.
