MyBit has been invited to “Smart City Dubai” as part of their top 20 global start-ups!
MyBit will present a pilot to demonstrate applications for smart homes in Dubai on October 22th -25th. The audience will include Director Generals and Chief Innovation Officers of Dubai’s public and private entities, renowned investors and the wider start-up ecosystem.

Dubai has a revolutionary approach to innovation and are at the forefront of the smart city revolution. A series of smart services and initiatives are already being utilized in the city and they have demonstrated a readiness for further improvement through the power of blockchain technology. Their goal is to make Dubai the world’s first blockchain powered city by 2020.
The focus of the presentation will be Smart homes, but MyBit is also exploring the incorporation of self-driving taxis, smart property/apartments, 3D printing as a service and many other next generation businesses which goes perfectly with Dubai’s smart city initiative.
There are plans to test a lot of IOT devices on the platform to demonstrate it working in real time during the event.
Dubai has made it clear that people’s happiness is placed as their ultimate indicator for success moving forward. This fits perfectly with MyBit’s crowdfunding vision of providing equity and opportunity to all people in the economy regardless of their access to capital.

Dubai is the place from the future. Hopefully other counties will take this country as an example and in a near future innovations and life style will come to us.

Amazing to see cities adopting block chain and smart contracts . Way to go Dubai, the problem is its just too hot there with only 2 to 3 months of good weather :)
