I know that almost no one is reading anything on this platform just because they truly want to read and explore something new.
I know that almost no one who is reading first word of this post will be reading till the last one.
So, let's get straight to the point :
Obviously, more than 99% people here are because of thing called M - O - N - E - Y.
And it's completely okay I guess. In the other hand if there is no currencies in the world what will drive and motivate humans to live? I think this sentence sounds normal. But let's be clear. Obviously money is something what we as a human race created. Money by itself means nothing. It's just you and me who is attaching it to something. We are so connected with something which is actually not even real, that we truly forgot to be kind to each other. Which totally normal. But let's cut the bullshit. We all know that money changes us. But let's go deeper. I think it's money. It's us.
It's not money divided us. It's us that divided us.
Talking about this topic I just want you all people ask yourselves why are you on Steemit?
And not just here. Everywhere. I think my point is that, that we all need to question reality more. Just ask questions. That's the key to the life.
As myself I'm here not for money. I guess it's attention that I seek or there is something what I still don't understand.
I will end with this. I'm letting you to think and discuss if you want.

@narovski, the fact we get compensated is what piqued my interest. But what hooked me was the amazing community that allowed a positive outlet for creativity. You'll do great here because it's ultimately about heart. ❤️
Regardless of whether people are here for the money, I think the rewards system helps drive people to create better content than you often see on other social media websites.
I've discovered some great content creators who are just passionate about getting their material out to the world. Why not do it on a platform where you might be rewarded? If people use their votes wisely, the high quality content will be what gets rewarded, and the folks who are attempting some sort of "get rich quick" scheme will be weeded out (hopefully).
Even still, it's good to come across a post like this from time to time that makes you think about your goals for using the platform. I enjoy engaging other users because I've discovered some very interesting aspects of life that otherwise I might have never learned about.

Money = food, motivation, security, that new car that you always wanted to buy, school fees for you or your kids or both. Well money = everything those who said money is nothing we're lying through their teeth. The corruption that comes with money is a total different story and must be avoided. Of course everybody is after money, it's only logical but people who tend to tie them with just this fact blocks their creativity.
Steemit is on its beta phase I guess there will be more people and this platform will get better as a whole and things will get better in a way it won't leave its users frustrated or lost, I know that day will come one day and I'm gonna wait for it.
I haven't read what you wrote here but I already followed you. Just felt what I can describe as 'good energy'. And first of all thank you for that.

If you don't have something to live for, money can't change anything. You can't buy happiness with money. I remember, one week after I started relationship with my girlfriend I get a job offer in other country, continent to be precise. A job with payment for 3 years I can't made in my country for lifetime. I didn't tell anyone for that job, everyone will say that I'm stupid, that we just started relationship etc... I just didn't accept that offer. After more than half year I told her about that job offer and my girl was like ''Whaaat, are you normal?? Do you know how much money that is?'', I just answered... ''I know, but I can have a lot of money on my bank account and don't have you. I would still be poor. Now, with you. We don't have a lot of to afford ourselves, but I can't be the richer than I am now''... Than we just both start crying and couldn't stop hugging.
I don't need money, I need love, health, passion, goals in life which I will success, I know I will.
And the reason why I am here is just in the answer, passion! I have passion to write, express myself. I don't except money here, really... I want meet new friend, learn a lot off new thing and read about other peoples stories. :) And this, this is one step to my life goal. One in the million. :)
It's so nice that here I can somehow find people like you. I want to hear more stories from your life. You really have talent to write, because it is very easy to read what you have written.

Diversity.
I am a simple girl, I see a story that I enjoy reading, I press upvote or/and follow.
I love the diversity of all, be it a coherent post or " look at my new door" ( it depends on my mood tho ).
Makes me forget for a while of my own problems and I don't really mind if they do it solely for the money or out of boredom. Some do nastier stuff for money :)
Might change my status to forever lurking and upvoting :P
