Interesting perspective as for the banks removing their services from the "industry" . You are aware the banks are complying with Federal law ? RICO, the various Bank Privacy laws, and FinCen are responsible.

The federal government shouldn't be involved in state business...blah blah blah...prison lobby does not want to lose business.
Its not that I don't agree, I am an original intent sort of guy myself. As far my libertarian leanings , most definitely a minarchist. As I simply do not believe society works with out some form of governance. However any government involvement into our lives and business dealings should be the bare minimum necessary for gears of society to function smoothly. In some ways I feel they made a mistake with the commerce clause simply because of how its been interpreted and used as a justification for the expansion of Federal power.
I agree regarding the expansion of Federal power, Alexander Hamilton is a happy camper and Jefferson is turning in his grave. But I've read many articles regarding for profit prisons and drug laws keeping their stockholders happy.

Scientists are only allowed, via special permit, to experiment with one strain of weed, grown at Ole Miss, under government supervision. Failing to take into account what the many strains are capable of. The entire body has endocannabinoid receptors throughout. It's not known why. It's time to expand the pharmacopia of available medicines.
Sounds like big Ag and their monoculture mindset😏
