STEM CELL INNOVATION (The Greatest Hope Of Humanity:)

Stem Cell Innovations (SCI) is a company that actively working on stem cells since 2013. Now there are trying to build a worldwide network that focuses on expanding the field of stem cell research. They are trying to hybrid two revolutionary technologies of our century, blockchain and stem cell.

As we know, stem cells -especially embryonic stem cells- have almost unlimited potential. They can be differentiate the cells that we need. So it can treat countless diseases like neurodegenerative disorders or something that we born with it -Type 1 diabetes, Hashimoto disease- and even cancer. Like. Without a doubt, stem cell research will lead to dramatic improvement in the human condition and will benefit millions of people. With the discovery of stem cells dating back over 30 years, the uses and benefits of stem cells have proven effective throughout innovative studies and medical trials time and time again.

In 1968, the first bone marrow transplant was performed to treat two siblings with severe combined immunodeficiency successfully. Other key events in stem cell research include the following advancements and discoveries

1978: Stem cells discovered in human cord blood.
1981: The first in vitro stem cell line developed from mice.
1988: Embryonic stem cell lines created from a hamster.
1995: The first embryonic stem cell line derived from a primate. • 1997: A cloned lamb created from stem cells.
1997: The origin of Leukemia was found to be the hematopoietic stem cell, indicating possible proof of cancer stem cells

Theresa A. Deisher said everybody has stem cells, using it in diseases we can induce regeneration and cure diseases. Also in this treatment, we don't need any donor because we use the patient's own stem cells. ( Dr. Theresa Deisher is the first person to discover adult pluripotent stem cells. She is a lecturer on stem cell issues. And an active member of ASH (The American Society of Hematology) and ASCO (ASCO: American Society of Clinical Oncology))

That's really fascinating but in the medical world, a research like this needs to be studied a lot to applied as a safe treatment. And such a big research maybe takes twenty years or more. Some of us don't have that long time. So we need to reduce the time we need. In the world we live there are millions of people waiting for that kind of treatment and SCI will give them hope. If we ask how they will be our hope, they have a plan. Initially, SCI wants to dissolve the misunderstanding of stem cell researches and show its potential across the world. To solve this there will be videos, articles, and another teaching stuff that was written by experts. It will increase popularity and by increasing popularity will attract investors.

As we talked about we needed to reduce the time we need, by creating a platform about stem cell research, world will be our laboratory. With the expanding of research and increasing the speed they will do their ultimate goal.

Their ultimate goal is connecting the people who need treatment with experts of their own disease. So they are working on an application named SCIApplication. With their blockchain-based platform, they will provide communication chance. By using blockchain technology that will be easy and comparatively cheap.

Maybe you're asking yourself, yes they are working on stem cells. They want to communicate with people and expert. Their application will be as a communication app. But where is blockchain in it?

Of course, it's in the most important place = your privacy. In the SCI Application patients will have a unique alphanumeric identifier and it could be decoded by only SCI itself. SCI is building up a secure and safe storage. They will let you control all of your information so you can decide what you wanna share in your profile and who can see it. In the app, there will be other things, like BMI calculator, pill identifier, pregnancy calculator and other stuff.

They will release SCIApplication in the second quarter of 2019. It will benefit us.
