Obviously :)

But really the idea came when you guys told us to mention steemit in the 4 Cryptocurrencies With Much Faster Block Times Than Bitcoin. Thought mentioning steemit here is a must!

EDIT: Also, I rewrote the article to make sure cheetah bot isn't summoned. Looks like it worked.

One correction probably will need to be made: cryptocurrency is called Steem (http://steem.io/).

Steemit is just one of many platform build on top of this blockchain. There are alternatives like:

and few others for mobile ;)

But of course Steemit was the first one and by many it is considered as the official one.

PS.
Somewhere in the Roadmap for 2017 there was something about creating more distinction between Steem (the blockchain) and Steemit (website) - for example... right now both are using the same logo. That is going to change.

You are right, I was a bit confused about it thanks for the clarification. I've updated both posts to include that fact.

The token is more accurately called STEEM. The network is called Steem. The reference/original/main portal is referred to as Steemit or steemit.com, and the company name behind it is Steemit Inc.

So you sort of SHOUT the TOKEN STEEM but whisper the network Steem?
This gets more complicated by the minute;D~

I didn't hear back from you when I asked before but if you don't plan on reposting old articles your account can be whitelisted from cheetah messages.

Hey there, sorry I am still getting used to the message system here. My plan was to post here one of our most popular articles for the day, and possibly rewrite it so it doesn't hurt either site for SEO purposes.

I believe whitelisting my account from cheetah messages might be a good idea, as it would allow me to possibly post a bit more content as I wouldn't have to rewrite it as much.

Also, is there a reason why my first blog post had do-follow links and any consecutive posts have no-follow links? If the search engine can't see the do-follow link and the article has copied content, it may hurt the rankings of both sites.

Hey there, sorry I am still getting used to the message system here.

You might be interested in checking out eSteem mobile application by @good-karma. In that application you can setup which kind of notifications you would like to receive on the phone.

Thank you for mention, brother! Yes, eSteem has notifications for vote, comment, follow, unfollow, mention, reblog (resteem). iOS is update is coming with latest improvements of v1.3.9. Android v1.3.9 release is available on Google PlayStore, now. We are currently working on more improvements...

There's a relative 'quality' threshold which is currently set at $10. Posts with a payout higher than this have nofollow removed from their links.

Could you explain what is a reasoning behind that?

Ah gotcha, makes perfect sense.
