Maybe. The issue is that none of this fantastic feature list actually exists. Their road map says their beta version comes out in late 2018. This a long to do list to execute well in about 6 months.
If that had been the case there would have been only 1 crypto currency and no alt coins. There will be still new innovations and systems that have evolved over the older one will come out. But i know that both will co-exist and steemit is here to stay for long.
