Do you know how great is the fear Bitcoin has triggered among the orthodox finance community? And yet it seems that they are so reluctant to learn more about this.
Today I came across a discussion in a group of retail stock investors. Someone started the topic, saying that those central banks in the world can just put some money together to buy all bitcoin, to take it out of the market circulation. And bitcoin will DIE.
This is the biggest joke I had ever heard about. Isn't it?
Bitcoin will still exist as long as 1 unit is in the market. They just don't know that bitcoin is infinitely divisible. We can trade for one satoshi, or even 0.0000001 satoshi. And even the community can create another way or unit of counting.
Do you think that you should tell them about the concept of hardfork in order to create another cryptocurrency? Or just tell them that actually there are hundreds of thousands of cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin. (Do you think they know about that?)
And, literally, anyone can create a blockchain and produce a cryptocurrency to make it a place in the market, as long as the internet still exists, and there is demand for it.
They must be not aware that, if some central banks really come out and act and buy in most of the bitcoin in the market, just stupidly thinking to kill the crypto, then it must be the biggest thing to celebrate in the community.
