That's wrong, an Upvote would generate new Steems on the fly which would dilute the pool of Steems and decrease the overall value for all the investors. Of course it cost something.

I'm not trying to be ignorant, I'm trying to understand and learn more about Steemit. How does it dilute the pool of steem if the pool is the same everyday?
