국가와 블록체인 그리고 가상화폐
Country, Block Chain and Virtual Currency

그리고 다시 거꾸로 가상화폐에 대한 고민의 시작으로 등장한 블록체인 기술
그리고 국가간의 신용으로 유지되는 현재 화폐시장

역사적인 생각과 상상력을 발휘한 생각을 적어보려 합니다.
우리가 국가 혹은 민족이라는 용어를 사용하기 시작한 지가
몇 백년이 되지 않은거 같습니다.

사실 국가와 민족 등으로 대변되는 용어는 자연스러운 발생이기보다는
인위적인 필요에 의한 구성원들의 합의로 시작되었다고 생각합니다.
특히, 이런 용어들의 공고화를 위하여 그 나라만의 언어, 문화 그리고 화폐까지도
만들어 그 세력을 독립적으로 단단히 한 시도라고 보입니다.

이것을 다시 돌아 현재 가상화폐는 어떤 면에서 이 상황을 거꾸로 다시 돌아가는
혹은 다시 되풀이 되는 상황인가? 라는 점이 지인과 이야기 중에 생각이 들었네요

금본위제 등의 이후에 현재의 화폐가 발달한 상황을 보면
사실상 가상화폐의 발달도 현재의 화폐 혹은 무언가를 기준으로
밟고 넘어가야 하는 시점인가 하는 생각이 들었네요.
이 점은 화폐에 대한 일면에서의 생각이고,

더 나아가서는 위에 이야기 한 국가와도 관련이 있는 것 같습니다.
기존의 국가라는 용어를 위해 국가를 실체화 하기 위한 화폐, 문화, 정치 그 외 다양한 국가 관련 무엇들이
소위 무역의 확대와 기술의 확대로 인해
국가가 통제 할 수 있는 지점을 넘어 범국가적 대응을 해야하는 지점이 많아지면서
자유로운 패러다임의 흐름 중 일부인가 하는 생각이 들었습니다.

이것을 어떤면에서 역사의 되풀이 혹은 새로운 역사라고 볼 수도 있을 것 같네요.
사실상 인류 역사를 길게 통틀어 봤을때는 현재의 국가 개념은 특히 짧은거 같네요.
지난 몇 백년간은 국가의 필요성이 전쟁 등의 이유로 극도로 발달된 상황이었다고 생각합니다.
하지만 기술 발달 혹은 지난 세대간의 여러 정치적 실험 혹은 경제적 실험을 통해
국가의 견고성을 테스트하던 시기가 극에 달해 가는 과정 중의 가상 화폐 등장이라고 보여지네요

글을 아직은 잘 쓰지 못해 흐름이 매끄럽지 못하고
아직은 생각이 깊지 못해 아쉬움이 남네요...
