Bigger blocks, that’s the solution to scaling.
It was an issue, but not strictly always. 0-conf used to be standard for many transactions. Even if not the standard, since 1 "confirmation" is always a lot more secure.

Lyin' Ver is the only person who has forked the Bitcoin code trying to supplant Bitcoin with his underhanded tactics.
Just like a con-man, he's willing to risk other people's money - but not his own. He still owns more Bitcoin than BCash -- because he knows his altfork isn't a "sure thing".

After Lyin' Ver's "muh high fees" narrative got busted in the chops -- http://fork.lol/tx/fee -- he quickly pivoted to the Lightning network, trying to smear that effort and calling it every name he could think of.
Too bad Lyin' Ver isn't too technically oriented, or he'd know the things tumbling from his ex-convict lips were not even close.
And today - RIGHT NOW - there are people transacting on Lightning like this:
42 transactions with the whopping total cost of 4.9 cents - TOTAL.
But Lyin' Ver doesn't want SegWit - he doesn't want Lightning - all he does want is willing followers so he can dupe them all.

BCH needs to stop the double spend problem but I always watch news that are crypto in Japan oriented.
There is very little of a problem currently. It's mainly that people don't know how to read and judge 0-conf double spends. Some of them should be expected and do not signal anything abnormal.
However there is a concern with potential sub 0 sat/byte transactions, which can be used to exploit a payment later sent to a merchant. It's not been used a lot or potentially even once as far as I know, but it could be and there have been some suggestions on how to fix it.
In either case I hope there can be a move to sub-blocks or similar to entirely remove almost any potential 0-conf concern.
There are only two ethnicities in the world with the last name of Ver. Philipino and Hungarian. I'll let you guess which one is the origin of my last name.
