There are too many coins based on storage mining: Storj, Siacoin, Burst, MAID, filecoin (not launched yet)
I think in long term only the one with best technical implementation would survive. I do not know much about them, but I think the most advanced project currently is MAID.
yeah but only Sia and Storj are serious with Sia being the best out of them all and already currently active wit a huge base of people renting out terabte hard drives just to get inoth this new gold rush!
Why buy siacoins when u can earn the with renting yoru HDD out
An we NEED this many coins! there is a MASIVE nee for cheap storage! when siacoin allows people to link theeir IPHONES to sia and provide cheaper storage than icoud people will be using sia for SMARTPHINE cloud storge! i kno I need more space on my iphoen and if i pay for extra storage i will use sia!
also we NEED this many storj coins! it will drive price down with competition allowing us to store more and more data cheaply! nthe future wil requitre many many yotabytes of info to be stored every day! or second! we will have fulll scale 1:1 molecule matrix simulations runing off jupiter sized ethereum computers oribiting the sun, like DysonSPheres!
Ethereum and cryptro wll bring us to a type 1 civilization!
