5 Coins To Rule Them All

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago

On Monday I mentioned there were 5 coins I am accumulating. Each has it's own strong point, but aside from that I am looking at them as coins I can 10x by 2020. I'll start off with the most obvious, STEEM.

1. STEEM - It should be obvious to everyone that STEEM is one of the best coins out there to hold. We stake, blog, contribute and get rewarded for it. This offsets any losses incurred due to the decrease in the price and pays us like no other coin does!

The STEEM HODL community is huge and it is developing or has developed a ton of DApps. STEEM really has no competitor. Sure there are copies, but that's all they are. Their platforms are lacking, communities tiny and coins worthless.

SMT's should hit right around the time the market starts turning around. This will be huge for STEEM and so I continue to accumulate.

2. Cardano - I like Cardano because of the team behind it, Charles "Do You Know Who I Am" Hoskinson and IOHK. The are meticulously going about building Cardano to dethrone Ethereum and EOS. Their team of engineers and scientists is impressive and I think out of all three projects mentioned, they have the best chance of taking the lead in 2020.

3. Polymath - Listening to a podcast with Chris Burninske several months ago I heard about Polymath. They are one of the first platforms to offer securitized assets on the blockchain. This will be a huge market in the coming years and they have a head start. One of their graphics explains their future well:

4. ICON - ICON (ICX) is a crypto out of South Korea. It is developing a system called Loopchain which will connect different blockchains to interact with one another within Loopchain ecosystem. Koreans are some of the most heavily invested people in crypto and ICON is one of their own. They partnered with LINE earlier this year to develop LINE's blockchain network. That news alone put ICON on my list.

5. Your suggestion. There are a LOT of shitcoins out there. Some with decent teams, some with strong communities and even some with use cases, but after seeing so many come and go it's getting tiring trying to get into a new one. So, I'd like to hear of a project or two you are interested in and why. Even if you are only interested in 50x your investment. Leave a comment below and let me know!

This post is in no way investing advice. Just my idea of how to get rich by 2020 and maybe even changing the world while doing so. Of course, 80% of my portfolio will always be in BTC so regardless of the outcome of these shitcoins, I will get rich and change the world just by HODLing my BTC.

Thanks for reading!

UHive is my latest discovery. It's a new type-of-social-network. I think in 2020 it can be 100x or more.

Thanks, I will look into them.

I've never heard of Polymath. various kinds of coin. I hope Steem will overtake Bitcoin.

Yes, there are various coins for various things, and some of them will survive.

STEEM can't overtake Bitcoin. Bitcoin is sound money. Enjoy STEEM for what it is, a useful token powering SNS.

Thank you for good information🌹

Have you heard about scorum? Looks like a steem fork for sports. What do you think?

Interesting idea. I'll have to look into it. Sports fans are diehard so anything to do with sports could be a win. A quick glance looks like they indeed are copying Steemit. Will dig in deeper. Thanks.
