Hi steemers,
I first came to know about cryptocurrency when bitcoin was 24000 Rupees(approx 350$) at 2014. At that point in my life I was an engineering student and had no money to invest in such currencies. I didn't know what cryptocurrency was in first place. Then I researched what is cryptocurrency and what is it's use? I happened to come across satoshi bitcoin - whitepaper. I didn't understand clearly at first but did get some overview about what is cryptocurrency and something called decentralization.
This opened my eyes wide open cause I thought of this tech in 2008. I then thought of investing then but at that point in late 2014 there were no good exchange platforms where I could transfer my money and instantly buy some satoshi's (remember I didn't had much at that point). Days past by and the value of bitcoin kept on growing.
I am now 23 and bought my first bits when it was $8000. I put some of my savings to buy bitcoins in satoshi to be in the cryptocurrency game but still, I am happy that I am in the race and own some multiple units of other cryptocurrencies too, cause I believe in this technology and I also know that what goes up must also come down. We are still an early investors in cryptocurrency even if I lose, i'll have the knowledge of how to invest and when to invest and what it is like to take risk ?.
Its better to take risk and fail, than not taking it. otherwise what the fun in that ?.
Now there are multiple exchanges in India where you can transfer and exchange in bitcoins, I personally use binance because of its simple interface and clean User interface.
If you would like to be a part of cryptocurrency race(#FOMO) this is the time to invest(if you believe in it). But always remember that it is a very volatile market so keep yourself open to learn about cryptocoins and its usage.
Hope this will motivate you to invest and learn about cryptocurrencies.
Best,
