Bought three new Cryptos (utility tokens) Let's take a look at why

Today I actually pulled out a little bit of Steem and I also skimmed the top of some other cryptos to buy three new coins that I have drool..ed? over for quite some time.

Lisk

Pretty much an Ethereum-competitor, but written i Java. Lisk themselves proclaim that they've chosenJavaScript because it runs everywhere, is extremely popular and widespread and has huge companies like Google and Microsoft working on it's sped and security.

Lisk uses delegated proof of stake. With Lisk you can develop platform independent social networks, messengers, games, financial applications, prediction markets, exchanges, storage platforms, contract execution platforms, sharing economies, online shops, IoT apps and much more.

Nowadays, we have Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store. Both centralized solutions owned by corporations for centralized applications. The Lisk Foundation believes in a decentralised future. In order to achieve this, Lisk strives to make blockchain technology accessible for everybody by building a blockchain application platform likewise for users and developers.

I'm not sure if Lisk is better, worse, or just different than Ethereum or IoTa or EOS. And I don't think that that's important for the average crypto dweller. What's important is that it's definitely room for more than one platform.

In the traditional world we have for instance Chrome, Firefox, explorer, Safari, Opera, Yahoo etc. We do even have at least three operating systems? I'm not a techie, but I know that there is OS, Windows and Linux, and probably a few more. All of which are more or less successful.

Status

This one was just too cool not to buy into. With Lisk your mobile device becomes a light client node on the Ethereum network, enabling you to access Ethereum's entire ecosystem from anywhere.

Send payments and smart contracts to friends from within chats with encrypted messaging using a peer2peer protocol that doesn't rely on centralized servers.

Beautiful.

  • Send, receive and store Ether
  • Browese decentralized apps
  • Buy and sell Ether Locally

Dent

Dent's vision is to create a global marketplace using Blockchain, where everyone on this earth has the opportunity to buy and sell mobile data packages and liberate mobile data. They are planning to do this by creating a open marketplace for buying and selling mobile data.

Yeees

The telco industry is a complicated, fragmented mess and so 1990's. There are a handful of telcos in each country, isolated silos that don't interoperate properly with each other on the mobile market. Telco users are stuck in a trap, where their purchased data packages expire every month, even if they paid for it. We are striving to liberate it, while creating new opportunities for telcos too.

Dent is the smallest of these utility tokens with only $174 million USD Mcap. But it sounds like a solid idea, and I suspect this could really blow up.

To wrap it up. Lisk and Status are two coins that I feel I "should" own. I'm not going to be left behind when one of these application platform cryptos takes a 100x or 1000x in the next year or two. There will definitely be room for more than one (Ethereum) and I want to have a piece in all of them. So very happy about purchasing those two. Very easy to do on Bittrex.

Dent is more of a wildcard, although the team looks nice, the idea is great IMO, and everything seems very professional. Their app is in Alpha, and they are only listed on Etherdelta, HitBTC and Coinrail. They announced earlier today that they are about to get listed on KuCoin. I believe there is a big chance they will get listed on more exchanges and that will see some traction.

I have no less than a goal of at least 10x on all of these coins. That's where this market is now. Booming. But I will keep the majority of my coins in these companies as well, as always. I'm a hoodler. I only skim the milk in order to invest in more ideas and projects in this new world.

Hope you enjoyed it and found them interesting!

I am not a professional financial advisor, like all the great awe-inspiring financial advisors working in banks and traditional institutions. I know nothing, and you should never take any advice from a drunk anarcho capitalist-Viking.

Well, that's all logical and realist and stuff, but John McAfee was on a video blog show of these two guys who I have no idea what their backgrounds are, but John said these would be at $1 million or greater in 3-5 years.

  1. Monero(XRM)
  2. Safe Exchange Coin (SAFEX)
  3. ZenCash(ZEN)
  4. DigiByte(DGB)
  5. Verge(XVG)

So, I sold 200 of my Cardano(ADA) at 130% profit and bought 2000 DigiByte. #ToTheMoon

FOMO of Today

1$ million USD per coin? :D

Well, if that's the case I need to buy some of em! I only have Monero of those listed. Verge is one I have been planning on buying. I'll throw in some Zencash and Safex too. Sure. Next week probably. Thanks.

BTW, will he eat some of his bodyparts if he's wrong?

Well, he said $500,000 first and upped the bet to $1 million.
The guy is crazy, but if he's right, I just bought enough to make myself a billionaire in 5 years.

I'm a fan of Zencash. Basically they are turbo charged Zcash with the paid node structure of Dash and somehow they are planning to host on the IPFS network so the government can't ever shut them down. Plus they do some other stuff too but those are the main selling points for me.

Great info!

thank you for this infos , I wouldn't know about any of them if it wasn't for you! certainly the price is inviting for small traders like me and story backing them is a cherry top
keep it up and much love!

Thanks a lot brother! That's great to hear :)

thanks for the information, i am recommending Lisk as well.

Lisk was also on my radar. I may need to get in soon but I chose me move on steem first. Are you looking at TenX at all? Would love your thoughts.

Yeah! Didn't I write about that? Maybe not..I need to write more :) I did buy tenX the other day. Not a big sum..but I guess relative to the potential I think it has. Could be a good investment!

on his blog John McAfee insisted that you need to invest in Monero (XRM), Safe, Coin Exchange (SAFEX), ZenCash (ZEN), Digibyte (DGB), Verge (XVG) because they can be worth in 500 thousand dollars here 1 year

Monero I have ..the others are on my radar :) Thanks

This post has received gratitude of 1.00 % from @jout

Thanks :)

He's a bot.

Where did you buy these? I like the idea with the javascript coin.

Lisk and Status on Bittrex, and dent on etherdelta

I go to have a go with atherdelta

Yeah DENT been doing amazing...picked up like 2 months ago...but now DENT been flying...up to 1800%...but sad that i only spent like 20$ for that :)
Good choices you have...but basically all of them are profitable...All.
Grab you space suits , next target moon!!!

@scandinavianlife this is a very informative post and I will have to look into some of the coins you bought for possible purchase myself.

Kindly edit your first line. Lisk is written in Javascript. Java is a completely different language.

Never heard of these.

What could I do with my unlimited data package on Dent?

Did you look into Cardano as an ETH, EOS competitor?

I have to agree with the other posters, Verge looks interesting, the tech behind it and the motivation.

Thank you for this infos. Very interesting !
