Beginning this week, stock brokerage company Robinhood will be allowing the first group of customers who pre-registered for cryptocurrency trading to begin trading on the platform. Of course, you can move up the list by referring friends to Robinhood. If they sign up, you'll not only get access to Robinhood Crypto sooner, but the both of you will also get a free stock like Apple, Ford or Sprint.

They have begun introducing this new service to users in 5 states: California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire. As the company is still working on obtaining money transfer licenses for more states, it is expected that they will eventually expand the service to customers in other states.

In less than one week of pre-registrations for cryptocurrency trading being available Robinhood received over 1 million registrations. As of now, Robinhood has limited cryptotrading to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), with many more coins to be available in the near future, including Litecoin (LTC) and Ripple (XRP).

Robinhood will also support real-time market data for monitoring for:

  • Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
  • Bitcoin Gold (BTG)
  • Dash (DASH)
  • Dogecoin (DOGE)
  • Ethereum Classic (ETC)
  • Lisk (LSK)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Monero (XMR)
  • NEO (NEO)
  • OmiseGO (OMG)
  • Qtum (QTUM)
  • Ripple (XRP)
  • Stellar (XLM)
  • Zcash (ZEC)

However, you wouldn't be able to trade these tokens just yet.
