On the night of Friday July 21st, we detected an unauthorized intrusion by an attacker. This attacker gained access to a hot wallet and was able to transfer funds which we will reimburse in full.
I'd like to direct your attention to a bitcointalk thread started in 2015 where they predict that this will happen.
This company is scamming people on purpose : they are selling contracts knowing their customers won't get any return on their investment : That's fraud.
Go to the end of the thread and see what people are saying now . . . go ahead, I'll wait.

There is no guarantee for daily earnings if problems like these arise. Users are often better off buying cryptocurrency rather than using cloud meaning.
Seriously, what more information do you need to stay the hell away from this farce? Spamming referral links should already be a HUGE red flag.
If you are new to crypto, stay away from Genesis Mining and ALL other cloud mining "operations"

What is suspicious about people that use the platform also using their code to get 3% free hashpower/btc? Its a great incentive to spread the word. I have been testing GM since last year and they have not missed a single payout. Even when they are late for a week i always get my crypto. Not a scam, they just got hacked:)

Thanks! It really gets under my skin sometimes. I've been telling people to leave Genesis alone for some time now. It's too bad a lot of people with large social media followings use these cloud based mining "operations" and referrals to make money. Especially since now, the truth is coming out.
I was about to sign up on Genesis a few days ago. Glad I didn't. Out of all the cloud mining services that I've seen on google and other forums, Genesis was the one that I always believed to be somewhat believable. Now i'm a little shaky on them

Just be careful . Easy money on the internet is usually a scam . I lost a few with irobot in telegram . Just buy cryptos at low price in a well-known-trusted site (kraken,poloniex,bittrex,bitfinex) and hold them or trade them .

Genesis has always smelled of a Ponzi scheme, but the confirmation won't occur until investors are exit-scammed. If you don't want to find out the hard way, don't invest with them.

Genesis Mining is really sketchy, I invested in a $150 contract a while back and I would have been better off just buying BTC, I heard about the hack but they are still sending payouts for now... wait and see

Yeah they did get hacked but at least they were honest enough to admit and also they didn't let mining operations get effected..
A company which admits to its mistakes then tries to get things sorted out is a company i am willing to invest in..
