Bitcoin Cash Went To The Moon!
With a rise of more than $1200 or 450% in just about 2 weeks Bitcoin Cash seems to be the new upcoming Star in the CryptoCurrency Sky. Some are suspicious about it and smell market manipulation as others are simply getting very excited about the major move.
I´ve never owned a full Bitcoin and unfortunately as well missed the chance to get my hands on a full Bitcoin Cash Coin during the time it was still trading around $300 Dollars. But I hope that many of you could get their hands one some before this insane price rally.
So Will BCH Become The New Bitcoin?
It might sound crazy but the Discussion was always there and just got more heated now after the failed SegWit2x fork. Supporters of BTC and BCH can be seen throwing statements out on Twitter while sharing facts like the shift of Miners from BTC to BCH.
It might just be a short term trend or maybe a real shift from the one coin to the other. We don´t know yet what´ll happen but I´d really be interested in all of your opinions on this topic 😉
So leave a comment to let us know what you think about it!
BCH cant replace bitcoin because it has the same scalability issues as bitcoin. Block sizes are limited and will eventually fill up on the BCH chain, even though they can hold several times more transactions per block than BTC can; and then users will have to start upping their fees on the BCH chain just like they have had to do on the BTC chain.
The slight advantage BCH has in terms of lower fees will last about three months and then BCH will be right where BTC was with rising fees as users compete to get their transactions preferentially added into the next block.
What BCH lacks is an open and honest team of developers who have the community's interests in mind. When BCH reaches transaction saturation, its owners will abandon it and it will become worthless.
BTC will never die, just multiply.
Well said. But to be honest I don´t think that BTC will ever be a real currency that´s being used on a daily basis. Having a look at the current costs to keep it alive it´s almost irrational compared to other cryptocurrencies just like Bitshares or Steem, which can process thousands of transactions with a very low energy input.
I too wish some other altcoin with low fees to be used as the main/global crypto currency... The fees of BTC are already unbearable.
Rich Guys that wanted Segwit2x so that they can control bitcoin mining and ultimately bitcoin now putting all their money win Bitcoin cash . Trust me Bitcoin will not able to survive much .
Well Bitcoin is well known for profitable trading but let´s see which currency will in the end reach the masses. I somehow don´t think many people will ever really use BTC for payments
BTC is controlled by Rich guys . Normal people controls bitcoin . Ultimately cryptocoin which will be for the normal people will only win .
Well I'm not buying any this week!
Interesting stuff though.
When are the alts going to do something?!
Well now might be a good time to buy as it´s down massively from the ATH. Regarding the Alts I think that people will soon start to invest in them again whenever all that Bitcoin focus is gone.
I think Bitcoin sealed its fate with the cancellation of Segwit2X.
It basically solidified it's position as an asset, internet gold, rather than a monetary system that was originally intended by Satoshi.
I'm expecting BCH to overtake BTC soon here. Although, I think BCH isn't much better than BTC anyway. The reason it's making these gains is because of the Bitcoin name. There are far better altcoins in terms of fees and transaction times. -_-
You name it. Both coins are just not suitable as a payment system and there are ways better ones out there. It´ll be used as the new gold eventually but nothing else IMO.
That´s good :D
wow.. Bitcoin surprises everyone.. Awesome work.
It always did :)
That's... crazy... Great that I still have few Bitcoin Cash Coins... I think I'll keep them for a while.
