Spam is not appreciated by the community and could be flagged or may result in action from the cheetah bot.
Some things that can be considered spam:
- Banner ads
- Referral links/codes
- Links to known scams, phishing sites, and other dangerous links
- Repeating the same post
- Repeating posts with random, nonsensical words/content (gibberish, Lorem Ipsum, etc.)

Hi, actually I posted the same article twice as I tagged first article under wromg category and could not change the category and hence was about to remove the first one. Just joined yesterday so didn't knew that I had to be quick to do that.
The way that content sorting works is the category does not matter too much. It's mainly used by curators to pull a list of posts, but that is infrequent.
Tags, as you probably noticed, work like this: the first tag is the category and is permanent. The subsequent tags are ordinary tags and can be changed. In your case, all you had to do was edit the subsequent tags. Double-posting doesn't do any favors for your profile and is best avoided where possible.
