ERC 20 Tokens

Again and again one reads from ERC 20 tokens but what is that actually?

ERC 20 Token created on the Ethereum Blockchain.

The smart contracts as an essential element of the ETH Blockchain offer the opportunity to create tokens.
A smart contract works according to a simple "if-then" rule. This determines which activity will be executed when a particular event occurs.
Smart contracts also make it possible to create tokens, which are nothing more than smart contracts.
For example, you can determine how a transaction will proceed and ensure that the wallets' wallets are stored.

ERC-20

ERC-20, the most popular form of token on the ETH blockchain, is the official Ethereum standard.
Developed and published by Vitalik Buterin and Fabian Vogelsteller at the end of 2005.

The standard specifies an application programming interface (API) that allows developers to create their own tokens.
Certain functions of the smart contract are specified so firmly.
This allows app developers to develop programs without knowing the specific token.
ERC-20 thus describes the interface into which a token can be programmed.
Examples of ERC-20 tokens

The most popular tokens are currently Tron and EOS.
On Coinmarketcap you can look up all tokens.

What you can do now with the token, how to use it or even create it yourself, in the following posts!
