A high performing cryptocurrency last week was Komodo. For those of you not following the cryptospace some highlights.
Komodo have made a huge announcement. In preparation of this Komodo skyrocketed to new all-time highs.
The Komodo team released a webcast today which revealed an ongoing partnership with Monaize.
Monaize
Monaize offers an e-banking platform understanding the needs of a banking industry.
They are positioning themselves for the coming transition period and they will use Komodo as their gateway to blockbrain and strive to build a bridge to connect the two worlds.
It will practically be the first banking service to provide blockchain products and services based for their client base.
Monaize is fully onboard with the vision and spirit of Komodo. Together they have brainstormed a strategic roadmad for cryptocurrency adoption.
My opinion
A serious competition for Ripple in my eyes. It's pretty logical that both - the banking industry and crypto- will work together as instances besides eachother in the near future.
The huge advantages are the Zcash private transactions and the fact that they are decentralized. However more and more protests are arousing where private transactions could possibly fund radical muslims. Another pathetic try from the governments from weakening the cryptoworld adoptation in my opinion. The disadvantages of Ripple against Komodo are pretty clear. Centralization and non-private transactions.
I seriously don't know if the cryptoworld will consider this announcement as something positive. I really look forward in anticipation of how the crowd will react.
Crypto-enthusiasts share the same common enemies: the banking system and the government.
I wonder if Komodo will heal wounds and bandage towards more adoptations.

I was surprised the price fell after the news, but I think the upward pressure on price will come once ICO's start using the platform- Ethereum 2.0. Also think ICO's will gravitate toward Komodo platform because it's safer for their investors. Investors no longer have to trust a third party. No more ICO hacks as well. Sounds like progress. We need bridge to the "real world"
I wasn't, actually... It's pretty common that momentum leading towards an announcement has a bigger impact on the price than the announcement itself ^^ Komodo had it's great run before. I got a buy back into them at a lower wave. Thanks for the reply! <3
