Roger likes to promote this image of being in control and calm, when the reality is much different.
Roger invented the whole "Core" labeling - which is a software client, not a cryptocurrency.
Roger camped the Bitcoin dot com domain, using it to dupe newbies into getting his altfork token - even going so far as to make it a default choice with misleading wording. (It was only corrected later when he was called out on the scam.)
And that's just for starters.
His whole campaign is based on deception, misdirection and labeling. He isn't competing on merit like the other forks, he's demanding that everyone treat his altfork as Bitcoin.
This won't stand.
What Roger should consider is that not only is he trashing the very little credibility he has left, he's also angering some very capable and skilled geeks that have access to resources that Roger doesn't.
Why Roger decided to make this his personal "Waterloo" is anyone's guess, but beyond the ego-fluffing and the constant validation he seeks -- its pretty obvious that he's blinded by his own greed.
Whatever you do, don't call him out on it, because when that happens -- the facade cracks and the real colors show through:
What you see there is someone lording their money over another person, trashing their business because Roger doesn't approve, and basically losing his shit over a contraction that is easier to say.
That isn't calm, that's a glimpse of a psychopath.
