RE: Cybercrime - More Than $225 Million in ETH Got Stolen

This is only going to be a larger problem as time goes by, not only for crypto but all parts of life. We are rapidly moving towards a digital life which means that all of our stuff is "online". At the same time, more things are being connected everyday. When we see what hackers can do to route transactions to where they want or take control of a large number of computers by changing a line of code, then you realize how vulnerable we all are.

Crypto is a unique opportunity for criminals...the data they steal is actually the value...they dont need to sell it like information they steal. Hack the pentagon and steal secrets for a missile, you need to sell that to someone to profit. Hack into a wallet and the digital file stolen is immediately of value.

True words. The security aspect will be more relevant in future than it already is today. So maybe it's a good thing that ICO's shall be regulated to assure that only professionals are handling it to reduce possible threats.
