I came across this older CNN - Inside Man episode where Morgan Spurlock learns about Bitcoin, Wallets and Mining. He purchases one Bitcoin - At the time worth ~ 650USD and tries surviving off the digital currency for a full week in NYC.
I thought that I would share it here and ask how many of Steemians currently use Bitcoin on a daily basis. Let me know how you spend that "Nerd Gold"
Personally I only got into Bitcoin this year and have only participated in online trading. I live in Canada and have yet to find many small business' who accept it as a mode of payment, I look forward to making my first purchase and using it on a daily basis.
I thought it was very interesting also,.I didn't know CNN spent anytime documenting on it either. It would be interesting to see another episode on it too show were Bitcoin stands now and the progress it's made in such little time.
I've devised a plan that makes so I live on BitCoin. Been on it for almost a year now. I should do a post on how I do that haha, this post gave me an idea. Got my upvote.
One day we will all be able to live off cryptos as easily as cash today. Exciting times ahead!
Yup essentially the same as everyone waiving their plastic around today but far more ideal - less room for corruption and fraud
This guy was ahead of his time! I love that show and didn't know they did an episode on this :)

Haha I know crazy. We'll be saying the same thing I'm sure in 5-10 years from now.. "Holy shit I wish I got Bitcoin @5k"
