Recruiting is made up of many skills with the most paramount being people skills.
People skills will open the doors to all the other skills you will need, because talking with engineers is how you learn technical stacks.
Start by reading resumes (LOTS) and linkedin profiles (Tons). Search for jobs you want to recruit for online, find professionals in those jobs, and read what they've listed.
Through reading project summaries, not just keywords, you'll begin to form a map of how pieces fit together.
When you don't know something ask somebody. The most valuable thing you can gather in the beginning of your training is time in conversation with engineers. Get comfortable asking what a technology is, but be sure to explain that you are new to the industry and that you are learning. Better jobs will often earn you more of an education from candidates as many push to impress (smart). So, work hard to earn a chance at recruiting for exciting opportunities.
