If you go to my steemworld Page here and then go down to “account operations” then click on yesterday. Then go down until you see where I transferred 2 steem to steembasicincome and click on it you will see your name in the memo field. Here’s a picture
To buy steembasicincome shares you also have to sponsor someone else and you both get 1 share. So for my contest because it was for 2 shares I sent 2 steem to steembasicincome with your name in the memo field and we both get 2 shares. This makes it a great prize for competitions because you get shares and the winner of your competition gets shares for no extra cost. Steembasicincome will then vote on your posts probably with the name @sbi1 or @sbi2 or @steembasicincome
Oh wow that's really awesome, I had no idea they give double the shares for sponsorship. I kinda feel like I owe them more now, because I am sponsoring 7 people through the next week. I do not want to milk the system by a long shot, I want to invest in it as well as other quality curators in Steemit. I hope my contest doesn't make me look like I'm trying to work the system.

You aren’t milking the system. That’s just how steembasicincome set it up to benefit everyone including them. I think it’s one of the best ways to run a contest.

Also if you vote 28 times a month on steembasicincomes posts the votes they make on your posts are worth more. If you set up an auto vote on steemvoter to vote for every post it means you won’t miss voting on any of them. One thing to note is they don’t always post everyday so you will also need to vote on some of their comments to reach the 28 votes per month minimum to increase the rewards you get from them
How do I get set up to do this automatically like you spoke of? How exactly does all of this work?
Sign up at steemvoter.com then click rules then add the name @steembasicincome where it asks who to vote on then power percent then vote delay which is best around 15 minutes
