It's been a while without writing a review on a cryptoproject because I have been very busy with the Questions and Answers contest which is currently on its 28th question!
Today I would like to write about a project that got my attention lately and that has started to roll out their first coins today. From my point of view is one of the most amazing projects I have seen in the cryptosphere and it's probably not because it will make you rich but because it will maybe help a lot of people in the world where governments have failed to do so.
The project is called Mannabase and aims to give a basic income in crypto to everyone on earth just by being a human being :)
So...What is Mannabase in their own words:
Manna is the world's first universally accessible, people-powered alternative currency.No matter who you are or where you're from, we believe you have a basic human right to share in the money supply.
The Basic Income is a concept started back in the 18th century which aims to provide everybody on earth with a certain amount of money to cover the most basic expenses someone could have. This basic income will be then something universal and if we think about a future with more and more machines that will make human labor less profitable it's an idea that makes a lot more sense. Thanks to blockchain, this could start being a reality and could really help develop poor countries and people without resources bringing more sustainable, justice and equality to the world.
This project started in 2015 with a proof called Grantcoin and has proven to be possible and sustainable. Those are the 5 basic concepts of the project:
There's no ICO behind this project and that was the allocation of funds in January 1st:
Once you join (of course for free) their project you are eligible to receive your Manna on a weekly basis and you will be free to trade it, hold it or send it to anyone in the world. I believe it will also be a great way to participate in ONG projects and also be able to track if the funds are spent as they should and so on thanks to the blockchain technology.
To be eligible you have to register but then you have to pass the UBI process which will consist in sending your personal information and provide a PIN number that you will receive in your phone. So, after you sign up in your DASHBOARD you will see a screen similar to this one that says SIGN UP TODAY. It's very important to click and finish the process or you will not receive any Manna.
Once you are done and you received your pin and introduced you will receive a confirmation email and you do not need to do anything else. You will receive on a weekly basis your Manna allocation. You will also have a referral code that you can use to share the projects with your friends and family. As a reward for sharing and helping more people, you will receive a little bit more Manna. Then you are free to do whatever you want with it but I will recommend using that for a good purpose if you are not in need of money.

I think is a very nice project and great idea, I just join through your join link. But my question is the distribution of the coin will stop with time right or is continuous?
Right now there's allocation for 10 years supply and in the future, an automatic distribution system will take place. It's very well explained on page 13 in the Whitepaper :)
The foundatin will also keep some coins for administration and in the future to reinvest again so it can be used in charitable projects.Thanks @ceyonce it will be distributed forever at a 3.5% inflation ratio (similar to US Dollar)
That's great. Was just thinking if it's forever that's means there are going to be much of it in circulation there by making the coin not to have value. Or what do you think?
Well, it's similar to the amount of $ in circulation. Every year there's more $ in circulation, but only 3$ so you don't feel it so much. But if you look 50 years from now with 1$ you could buy many more things. That's because of inflation, but as this is a free currency, you don't need to worry ;)
