Verge is faster than Litecoin and Bitcoin, has the right supply and block time parameters for a currency that needs low fees, fast transactions, mass adoption and everyday use similar to fiat. Additionally, it has good optional privacy features (IP obfuscation and Stealth Addresses, meaning untraceable transactions). In order for you to access the Stealth Addresses feature, you need to use the Desktop QT client, which is where Wraith protocol is. The QT client is being improved and there will be better releases that will be a lot easier to use and more appealing to the eye for beginners. I think it is just a matter of time before people realize that this currency has managed to establish itself in a very good position. It is listed on the biggest exchanges, Binance, Bittrex, Cryptopia. It has features that rival all other currencies(including privacy coins) and will possibly rival smart contracts platforms like Ethereum and NEO.
Bitcoin is an experiment meaning that Satoshi Nakamoto did not have enough data to optimize the choice of max supply and block time for the coin from the start. Litecoin is based on Bitcoin and was created when there was also not enough data to choose the best parameters, still an improvement with a faster block time and increased max supply. Even if Verge only had the faster block time and 1000 times higher max supply going for it, it would already be better than both Bitcoin and Litecoin but guess what, it has IP obfuscation which means your IP and location are almost impossible to trace if you want and it has Stealth Addresses which allows you to make hidden transactions that cannot be traced.
Smart contracts coming, I've heard about a Stealth to Debit card feature, Website and wallets are getting a redesign for ease of use to make them beginner friendly, it is open source, the community is huge, the team is working on spreading it as much as they can around the world, exchanges, online shops, merchants, etc...
I have 3 rules at the moment for investing into cryptocurrencies, the coin must have fast transactions, low transaction fees and it has to be decentralized. Verge, NEO, GAS, Stellar Lumens. I don't like NANO/XRB for reasons that I prefer not to talk about here. I also never leave any crypto inside any exchanges.
Conclusion: Verge is in a very good position right now, people will realize this slowly. Price will follow. Will all cryptos grow forever? No. The time will come when natural selection will filter out the cryptos that are not viable.
