Hello everyone! I’m back for the second weekly cryptocast. The forecast is sunny with 40% chance of cloud. The clouds represent upcoming bitcoin fork fears, and more crypto regulations around the world. My top 5 picks of the week are the following!

  1. Ripple ( xrp)

https://ripple.com/

I choose Ripple as my number 1 pick of the week because there is so much anticipation surround the coin, and major money could move in at anytime. Ripple has a few things on the go this month, starting with Japan’s SBI VC and SBI MAX potentially going live at any moment. Then middle of the month around October 16th Ripple hosts their own conference called Swell, which has many major speakers, and the possibility for some major announcments. Making XRP extremely hot for the next month. XRP is a long term investment, buy and hold, and forget

  1. Verge (xvg)

https://vergecurrency.com/

Verge makes the second on this list because of the massive potential surrounding it. They release something called wraith protocol likely on October 4th. This protocol makes it the most private crypto to exist. They also have many key partners such as telegram and discord, and a few surprises they have yet to announce. They were also listed on Binance today, which means, it may have a lot more volume from this point forward. Verge has a lot happening between now and the end of the year. XVG is a short term and a medium term hold.

  1. Basic Attention Token ( bat)

https://basicattentiontoken.org/

Basic Attention Token is created by the inventor of Netscape and Javascript, and I believe had a hand in Mozilla as well. So it is clearly created by someone with knowledge and know how. They are changing the way advertising works, and in particular, our attention to advertisements. Our attention is valuable and BAT seeks to pay us for that by removing the middle man of advertising companies. They release their Mercury protocol on October 6th, and this might generate some demand for BAT. BAT is a long term hold.

  1. Civic ( cvc )

https://www.civic.com/

Civic is all about securing our identity on the blockchain, securing us from identity theft, and making it easier for us to log in to all our websites with passwords with ease, it can also go further into helping us with travel documents and passports and so on. There are many partnerships working with them, with more being announced often. Cvc has yet to recover from the recent crypto crash, so it is ripe for a turn around. Cvc is a medium to long term hold.

  1. Game credits and Mobile Go ( game and mgo)

https://gamecredits.com/

https://mobilego.io/

Game credits is uniting the gaming industry with a single crypto currency that can go cross platform, and cross game, making it easy for everyone to purchase in game content. They have made tremendous progress in recent weeks with Gnation, and with the gaming industry in India signing deals with payment providers recently. Mobile Go, is another crypto tied to game credits, except they are tackling the e-sports industry, making it possible to bet other players for mgo tokens. The gaming industry is huge, and with all this progress, Game and mgo are on the frontier of bringing blockchain to gaming, which is a multi billion dollar industry. Game and mgo are short, medium and long term holds. They fluctuate a lot, so feel free to get on and off, or HODL.
