South Korea’s Kakao to Integrate Cryptocurrency For 12,000 Merchants & Millions Users
Asia Business, an influential finance-focused media outlet in South Korea, has reported that Kakao, one of the two largest internet companies that operate KakaoTalk, KakaoPay, KakaoStory, KakaoTaxi, and a subsidiary company which runs major cryptocurrency exchange UpBit, will integrate cryptocurrency within 2018.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro claimed the pre-sale of the country’s oil-backed cryptocurrency, the Petro (PTR), has raised $5 billion and recorded over 186,000 certified purchases, according to local news source TeleSUR.

Imo it's too early to say.
The double top could be the catalyst for Steem and other currencies to find some upward momentum once again. We have come down to the 200 day average and the daily candle closed above it, so that's a good sign for the long-term at least :).

The factor that will have the biggest long-term impact on the price of cyptocurrecies is the regulation of the crypto market around the world.
Should most of the developed countries choose to follow China and prevent cryptocurrency mining and trading, the industry is doomed. However, should a significant number of them choose to follow Denmark’s policy of accepting and not taxing Bitcoin mining and trading, the industry will thrive.

I find it disturbing that in the so called land of the free we lag behind South Korea in integrating cryptocurrency with our merchants. The bankers have fought to try and maintain control here until such a time as they can figure out how to skim their little fess from it. Good news for the South Koreans.
I saw Storm has done a complete reversal earlier today. I saw how much it had dropped and looked into it to see what was going on. Didn't seem to be worth investing in, feeling sorry for whoever bought in at those inflated prices.
I am laughing as I imagine how many eyes are twitching over Venezuela raking in that money from their presale.
