Almost everyone in the world now knows that John McAfee is quite bullish on crypto curves.
More specifically, he made some interesting pricing forecasts that will either be fulfilled or force him to eat his male parts. McAfee currently advises everyone to "calm down" under the current bear market, as things will eventually jump back.
John McAfee Is Bullish on Bitcoin
It is never fun to see the cryptocurrency markets collapse in a matter of two days. Going from a combined total market cap of over US$730 billion all the way down to the low US$400 billion range was certainly an interesting experience. Most people hope they will never live to see it happen again, but rest assured January 2018 will bring us more of the same. After all, such dips can be found on every chart when looking at January of a specific year. As to why this keeps happening, the opinions are somewhat divided right now.
John McAfee is a valuable voice of reason when market dips like this one occur. He immediately took to social media to calm everyone down. It was a noble gesture, even though the message has probably fallen on deaf ears. After all, the markets remain in a very uneasy state days after the fact. It is doubtful any statement made by John McAfee will change that all of a sudden. New cryptocurrency users tend to panic when things like these happen because all they see is the short-term price change.
When looking at the bigger picture, however, the recent market dip is nothing to be overly concerned about. The industry’s total market cap is 34 times higher than it was at the start of 2017.

The dude's delusional,McAfee knows if he is alive long enough to be wrong, he beat the odds, anyway. But in the mean time, he's doing his best to boost profits from his mining investment, so he can go to mars where he will be safe with his cocaine and hookers. @tradewonk
Agree
In contrast, I'd like to say that McAfee is by far one of my favorite libertarians. If he's making profits then by all means he has the wherewithal to do so and the finances to make it happen for himself, more power to the fella. I applaud anyone who is making a successful venture and gain from cryptocurrencies versus the over played fiat economy.
Agree! McAfee is far from perfect but who is? If he profits from his mining company, so what? As long as he is contributing something good to the community in a positive way. Kudos to all individuals who are making the crypto world a better community.
And McAfee has contributed to the community as far as I'm concerned!

Thank you
There are simply too many governments, banks, and other major players discussing Bitcoin- and the benefits of it's technology for other opportunities for me to not be bullish, also. I have to agree with McAfee here.
Same thoughts
In my opinion many newbies sold out everything when they saw few red days in a row. Another thing what affected on big dips was bad news from asia. But i hope we survived that and now green days will come and everything will back to normal .
Yes, and all graph’s makes a retracement. No graph is just straight to the moon
If it increases exposure don't really care what his agenda is. The more people realize this isn't just a fad, the less panic selling we will see after each negative press release comes out.
Just hope there are a couple more of these to buy on the dips though :).
He is doing a good job giving the crypto world more public exposure. We all need to be doing the same talking to our friends and family and encouraging them to join Steemit and get involved in the exciting world of crypto. We are part of a new economic paradigm that is unfolding. Keep the faith and don't be paniced by MSM propaganda.
Maybe, the trick's on us, and he doesn't have a weener...
Hope he is true!
He is an idiot.
You cannot believe someone who get paid for his assessments.
@zombie259 who's the idiot? Paid for an assessments? To hell with that dawg, what's the price of bitcoin right now? Oh yeah, it's a staggering 12500 USD! Dips are normal in botcoin, and as for the risk, well, bitcoin's rise in the past few month was like a rocket, it is expected to fall off. Just like when like in the past when try to look at the chart. It's just that the dips few days ago were big, but considering its growth in the past few months, you can make a conclusion to that.
