Kodak, a well-known manufacturer of photographic equipment, is planning to launch a blockchain initiative and an ICO to launch on January 31, in partnership with fintech company Wenn Digital.
In the foreground, the multinational corporation Kodak, which has been operating since the 1890s, is planning a blockbuster technology-based revenue stream for photographers, as well as a platform for securing data on their rights.
As announced yesterday in an official statement, they want to collaborate with If Digital. The platform should therefore be called KodakOne and their launch should go hand in hand with the launch of the KodakCoin. this kind of thing is inevitable really, the corporations can smell the money on the wind and will no doubt devise all kinds of devious ways to get at it ;)

just read about this a couple days ago, i think in a nearby future people will have like 100+ different cryptos in e-wallets and just use them for different stuff, like one crypto for groceries, another for electronics, another for house bills, and so on.
It's going to be a major pain...
Wouldn't it be possible for them to use an existing cryptocurrency, instead of every single company creating their own?

In the worlds of photography and other visual arts, having rights protected on the blockchain would be a huge benefit, @tradewonk. The on-going struggles of 'starving artists' can be addressed with proper accreditation. Something that has had no way of existing. We will all have to look to our photo sources! That will be a good thing. Good for the artisan community and good for everyone. More integrity all around. Whether Kodak will be instrumental in more integral data storage will be a wait and see kind of play. But isn't everything just now? Thank you for posting this.

This do remind me of the .com bubble a bit. Are your shares low? Do something with blockchain (even if it really doesn't make sense) and voala! Shares skyrocket. I think the industry has to think outside the box.
