Thanks for this Will. I have been trading EOS and got involved in the ICO as well, with this distribution model it can take the attention off the big picture and it is good to realise that the market cap is already in the billions! Expectations are SO high, let's hope they can deliver. It won't be any time soon though with the year-long ICO so would you say it is likely that the price will cool off a bit?

I'm not risking it - I have my holding already - but at average purchase price of $1.60 - ultimately this should be neck-and-neck with ethereum in market cap. within 1 to 2 years so today's buy price is irrelevant in my opinion - if it does drop to $1ish I may buy more!
I think one of the things people are under-estimating is (a) how amazing this technology is and (b) how much money they are going to have at their disposal - at this rate they may end up owning 5% of all Ether! ;-)
Yes I'm with you. I bought into the second tranche which averaged the 1.60 as well. But then fomo kicked in and bought a little more on the market the next day expecting another run after the third tranche so my average is slightly higher. Now I see a slow and steady retrace since due to the dilution given the 2M coins being released every day. I reckon we need some news or some developers already starting to build some dapps anticipating EOS technology (is this even possible?) to move this upwards. But when it does...Set and forget until it does.
