I am not a financial advisor. I first learned about Bitcoin in 2016 when Rand Paul was running for POTUS and he was asking for donations of Bitcoin. Unfortunately, I did not buy in at that time. I finally took the dive just last fall in mid November 2017 when I heard Bitcoin had reached 8K. I started off with Coinbase like a lot of people but my account was closed 3 days later after only depositing and moving around $130.00. They had given no explanation why they closed it but I had to remove my funds immediately. I had to act fast and learn about wallets all of a sudden so I could keep my newly found passion. I never once thought about how to cash out; just about how I was going to thrive in the world of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. I immediately got the necessary wallets and started signing up for some exchanges that Coinbase had me believing were for more experienced traders. I found most to be pretty easy once I figured out a few small details. I use a conservative approach to investing in Cryptocurrency. I plan on holding on long term but also know when and how to reposition to increase holdings. I never plan to cash out, I truly believe that I will be able to use my Cryptocurrencies as they were intended and use them for transactions, access to platforms, and investments. I like to always do my own research and find projects that have meaning and solve real world problems like Bitcoin. I see this as an opportunity to be involved in a worldwide technology advancement.
Future Cryptocurrency/Blockchain plans
I would love to develop my own token or coin. There are several areas that have not been touched yet and some won’t happen until some form of regulation comes into play. Mining has also peaked my interest but on a commercial scale. Miners will play a vital role in future adoptions and making sure the system runs smoothly. I will never be a financial advisor.
