My old trusty 2004 Mitsubishi Colt is well overdue for an upgrade! I've been putting it off mainly due to the fact that most of my savings are invested in cryptocurrency. However at some point this year, I'll have to bite the bullet and let go of some crypto to buy a second hand car.
I'm based in the UK and I only have a Coinbase account which has ridiculous fees. So I was wondering if it's possible to buy a car with directly with crypto. Has anyone has successfully done it?
Or is converting to fiat the only way? If so what would everyone advise as the cheapest and less painful way of converting to fiat?
All suggestions will be highly appreciated : )
And in case anyone is wondering which hot wheels I want to get next, all I know is that it will be electric... maybe a Renault Zoe Sport (460hp) like this one : D
I joke of course, sadly this is only a concept car. Its tamer little brother is a more likely choice.
I have no idea if you will be able to purchase a car through cryptocurrency. But I imagine that Google could give you a good overview of the major retailers (if any) accepting cryptocurrencies.
By the way, if you want to invest in crypto, have your money ready to withdraw within a reasonable time for almost no fees and receive an interest on your crypto savings, bitconnect.co might be the better Investment option in the future.
Thanks for the bitconnect.co tip. I sounds like a good concept, I just wonder about crypto security. I'll investigate further.
As for buying a car with crypto, I have searched and didn't find anything in the uk.
