If you missed the boat on buying Bitcoin super low, or just want to make some more Bitcoin, here are some alternative cryptocoins which may be worth looking into:
NEM(XEM)
This coin is Japan's second favorite Cryptocoin and it has quintupled in value since October 2017. At the time of this writing, it is worth .00008437 BTC. Like most coins right now, it's down a bit, but most investors recommend buying in at around the .00007 mark. This coin will definitely be a more long term hold.
One thing that sets NEM apart from some of its competitors is the strength of its blockchain. Ripple, one of the most popular and successful alternatives to bitcoin, has gained traction thanks to its efforts to improve banking transactions and settlements. NEM, on the other hand, is scalable and adaptable to many applications.
STEEM
Well, obviously. If you've been watching STEEM over the past few days, you'll have noticed that it's one of the few coins that seems to be immune to the recent crypto slaughter. If you're reading this, I'll assume it needs to further introduction. The only thing that sucks about STEEM is that, if you're actually trying to earn it, not buy it on an exchange, you need Steem Power to cash it out, to comment on Steemit, to make posts, to do anything really. This is something that's not very well explained from the beginning and although the site says that you only have to wait 3 months to be able to "power up" again, it's been 5 months for yours truly so make sure you keep your rewards on the default 50/50 and never convert your steem power into STEEM.
Stellar (STR)
This cryptocurrency may have the potential to be highly profitable. Stellar is powered by a lightning-fast blockchain which completes transactions in just seconds, and it is also connected with fiat currencies as well, allowing users to make quick exchanges from different global currencies.
A couple of cheap cryptos that are always worth buying low and selling high (you can make a lot in one day flipping the cheap ones) are DOGE and BCN. Dogecoin and Bytecoin; respectively. The current good buy in mark for DOGE is 0.00000062 BTC. Sell at 0.00000064. However, it should surpass 0.00000090 in a couple of months, so don't get caught on the wrong side of the coin. The volume is currently down on BCN, so I would advise against trying to flip it right now.
I want Stellar on Bittrex! Damnit. I second your thought on XEM. It tends to keep a high trading volume which keeps things interesting.
I should have put the other ticker symbol in there.
I wish they would all use the same ticker symbols.
Good picks ;) Esp the Steem :D
