Today's Crypto News!

Sick of the mainstream media trying to scare you with crypto horror stories? So am I! I am going to start covering the coverage of crypto from an honest and fairly non biased perspective. The innovations, the markets, the scams, the laws, everything. And of course none of it is investment advice, no one knows what is going to happen in the crypto sphere. You can simply never have too much information.

Bitcoin Price

I only own some alts and Steem but since BTC price seems to effect everything here how it's looking now

$ 9,040 according to CoinDesk right now

Tokyo Whale stopping celling bitcoins

The Tokyo Whale has stopped selling crypto. So the bankruptcy trustee of Mt. Gox has been selling off coins to pay back creditors and these new coins hitting the market has caused people to be nervous on the price. They are not selling anymore until the fall so investors are feeling more confident. They have sold off 35 thousand Bitcoins (the theft was 850 000 bitcoins). Mt. Gox is still messing up the market up even though they have been gone a few years. 35 thousand Bitcoins entering market is a lot and it almost certainly effected the price negatively.

Giza coin ICO appears to be a scam

A bunch of investors contributed quite a bit of Ether to an ICO for a company that was to make a secure cold storage wallet device. The guy who started the project appears to be made up and no one has ever actually seen him. Now he has drained the wallet for the project and disappeared. I'm not a big fan of ICOs, lots of talk, lots of use of the word "innovation" but often it's a pipe dream you are investing in.

Mining heat used to grow Tomatoes

I love seeing mining heat go to good causes. This company is harnessing mining heat and pumping it into greenhouses that are able to grow year round. They wanted to grow cannabis but getting a license in Czech Republic was too hard. That could be a great idea in cold ass Canada.......

McAfee making big predictions

John "I'll eat my dick" McAfee is predicting one million dollar Bitcoin by 2020. Looking at my calendar that is only 2 years. He possibly killed his neighbor in Belize and is a fan of sketchy legal highs so I would take his claims with a grain of (bath) salts

Former Indian government official says Crypto can't be regulated.

You rarely hear this, but it's true: Banning exchanges will not stop people from using crypto. I could sell it out out of my house, meet people in coffee shops. That is how it used to be done a few years ago. You can ban exchanges but crypto is unstoppable. And an above ground exchange with records is better than a guy who sells cryptos off his phone you meet in a park.

Even if huge markets like India or Korea or China ban it, it's still going strong in other countries, and therefore still possible to buy it, crypto won't stop because of laws and regulations. It will just go underground. I don't know why terrorism is always mentioned, a terrorist could send money by Western Union, but we don't shut down W.U. for the 99.99 percent of people using it to send money to family and friends. Why should Crypto be shut down? I can use it to buy drugs? I can use cash for that too.

This is crazy. A lot of crypto is locked in old wallets that people lost password, now this guy claims he can hypnotize you and help you remember it. I totally don't believe in this shit. But he found a market I guess.

From all the above, for me personally, the "catchiest" was the Hypnotist :-)
It is the new way of the world it seems, some people will do anything to exploit a person in need.
We should ask if he recovers e-mail password too?!? (I have a preteen e-mail that has totally slipped my mind).
