CFTC Chairman On Crypto Regulation: ‘I Don’t See It Being Resolved Anytime Soon’
The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chairman Chris Giancarlo said he doesn’t see comprehensive crypto legislation coming from the federal level in the near future, CNBC reports April 30.
“The statutes we are operating, you know, were written... in 1935 … And it’s often hard to look at those statutes and find out where something as new and innovative as Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies, where do they fall into a regulatory regime which was written decades ago... we see elements of commodities that are subject to our regulation, but depending on which regulatory regime you are looking at, it has different aspects of all of that.”

🗞 University College London Cuts Ties With IOTA, Cites ‘Support For Open Security Research’
The Centre for Blockchain Technologies (CBT) at University College London (UCL) has posted an announcement on its website that it has dissolved its ties with the IOTA Foundation, TNW reported April 28.
“UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies is no longer associated with the IOTA Foundation. STEEM Trading Update by my friend @cryptopassion
Here is the chart of yesterday :
Here is the current chart :
As explained exactly yesterday, the STEEM tested a last time the resistance line at 4.25 but failed to stay higher (green circle). This fail created a drop and we are now going in the direction of the support line around 3.65$. I think that we will do at least a test on this line and we have to hope that we won't break it more than several hours.
A break of that line could send us very low because we don't have lot of support in that zone of prices but it is a little bit too early to start to discuss about this scenario. Let's see first the test of our support line.
