So I looked into Brave before and although I was a fan of the idea it was not at the stage where I was ready to use it. But that might be changing as the site is starting to mature. I came across this article that now users can get a piece of the 70% of ad revenue that is being made from the browser. It sends it in BAT to your wallet. But don't get too excited as according to the article it works out to about 5 dollars a month. But still that is 5 dollars more to do what you are doing anyway.
I like the idea of Brave, being able to get a piece of the ad revenue makes ads tolerable for the users. It is why I think it is a good idea to have ads on steemit. If you are going to leverage us at least pay us :p
Is anyone using it? And if you are how are you finding it? Please let me know, I might give it another shot.

Hey guys, I've been using the Brave Browser for approx 10 months now. It took some time to get use to but I like the ad blocking feature and the overall functionality and speed it offers. I still use chrome and firefox as well but have slowly been using brave more and more. I strongly support the idea of giving us the users a portion of the ad revenue if we decide to turn ads on. I go in to more in detail about Brave in my youtube video if you would like to learn more.
Thanks,
cyb
I tried the mobile browser but found that it didn't work too well. It was very glitchy and crashed often.
Great browser in my place internet is slow. Using brave browser help me read faster webpage by blocking all kind of ads popping up.

I have used it for the last month or so. It's cool how it shows the total trackers and ads it has blocked on a given page. I was recently able to claim some free BAT in the browser too!
Highly recommend!
I tried using it before but I was having in setting it up.

Its a great browser i mst def use it all the time. But remember compartmentalization of your internet browsing is key.. im waiting for the wallet withdraws too

Have it, and if you go to http://cryptocollectibles.com it should be listed as a verified site or something. I do not really use it though based on it being tied to just one exchange to use the BAT. At the moment it is feeling basically as though an exchange owns your ability to do anything with BAT which is not the decentralization I am looking for.
I have used it on my work and personal computer as well a my phone. I love it. And I prefer to pay ot tip in BAT to avoid pateron.

I used it for a while then an update deleted all my settings. I might try it again. I am running on Ubuntu.

That is why I have been using it but have yet to see the ad revenue as I await to be selected but I have enjoyed many other benefits and have it as my default browser. First, it uses Chrome plugins so Keychain is there for using Steem. Next, I get an allowance of BAT to distribute to content creators on a monthly basis or can send them tips when I want. Like Steem, I pay nothing for these but can’t use for myself which is a great incentive to distribute the tokens. Lastly, the browser is much faster than all those I have used in the past!

It's my standard browser on my mobile. I'm not using it on desktop because I find it awfully slow. I wasn't aware it had this option, though I think it's a bad thing that a browser that started as an ad-blocker is now turning to ads as a source of revenue. The same apparently happened to plug-in AdBlock Plus. So instead of blocking ads from your browsing you now have to choose which browser/plug-in displays the least annoying ads.
